The Patriot Sporting Challenge is scheduled for the 9th and 10th of April. As president of The Sporting Club at Land’s End (dba The Links at Lands’ End), I know we are all proud to once again host this event. The Sporting Challenge has helped provide educational needs to the spouse and children of fallen service members since 2017, with the majority of the donations going to children in Texas. The total donation from these three events will reach $250,000 supporting the Folds of Honor.
The main parking lot at the club will be taped off April 7th, Tuesday evening. On Wednesday an 80×150 foot tent will be erected on the parking lot. The shooting event will take place Friday the 9th at the Winnsboro Gun Club. The fishing portion of the event will be on Lake Fork, and the golf here at the Links on Saturday the 10th. Parking will be primarily along the road bordering the number one fairway and along 5980 adjacent to the clubhouse.
